Job Title:  Entitlement Coordinator

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Focus areas:

  • Initial Site Research
  • Consult with SGA leaders to determine the level of confidentiality to maintain during the discovery process.
  • Verify the jurisdictions having authority over the building design.
  • Research and confirm entities involved in the building design approval process.
  • Research and obtain ordinances and design guidelines that affect the building design.
  • Document the building design entitlement process highlighting any unusual or difficult portions of the process.

EDUCATION: Design education preferred. Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design. Experience considered in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years; experience in a team focused environment that concentrates on developing the best results for the client. Experience with building entitlement/construction permitting preferred.

SKILLS: Proficiency in the MS Office suite. This role requires superior communication skills, a willingness to make calls, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with consultants and building officials.

The QC Lead is a person with experience in the construction industry who has honed his/her skills and is capable of acting as a team leader in monitoring the quality of the construction documents. This person will normally be in the office assisting on project design and documentation within the project team. The QC Lead may also have client interaction as needed. Travel to projects for the purposes of scoping existing conditions or observing construction is also possible.

Skills:

The QC Lead can work with the design teams and PMs with a range of duties including drawing reviews, training and mentoring production and QC staff. Attention to detail is critical in the position which focuses on the quality of the product. He/she must have a strong knowledge of industry standard drawing coordination and a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT. This position requires excellent communication skills to work within the project teams and to facilitate work flow.

EXPERIENCE: 1- 2 years, preferred. Prefer experience in a team focused environment that concentrates on developing the

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Title:  Intern Architect

Location:  Tulsa

Job Functions / Responsibilities  

Focus areas:

1. Construction Documents – Works with architects and project managers to complete detailed construction documents that

align with design intent and implement the assigned scope of work.

2. Prototypical Drawings - Understands and uses prototypical drawings and details whenever possible to more efficiently

complete the work.

3. Multiple Assignments - Manages and organizes multiple assignments to help the team complete architectural projects for

national retail projects. Completes architectural sheets with attention to detail and the thoroughness necessary to make

sure that marks or changes are carried thought the set.

4. Project Management – Desire and ability to learn and take on expanded responsibilities including, but not limited to:

due diligence/site analysis, schematic design, code research, design development, consultant coordination, permitting, etc.

Candidate Qualifications
