The applicant will work on K-12, Collegiate Student Life and Multifamily throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated team players and have excellent design and production skills. The candidate should have the following skills:

  • 5-10 years of professional experience

Job Title: Senior Architect

Dewberry provides world-class planning, design and program management services for diverse market segments. Our Tulsa, OK office is recruiting for an exciting career opportunity for a talented Senior Architect with experience in any or more of the following municipal and institutional building types including libraries, public safety, justice, higher education and healthcare.

From initial client contact through design to project completion, you will provide the technical expertise critical to the success of project teams for multiple project teams. Focus areas include collaborative team building, mentoring, client relationships, detail design across all phases of an architectural project.

The successful candidate will oversee detail design and document development for primarily assigned projects and assist with the same for all projects as a resource to best practice document development and constructability. Must have a good working knowledge of how buildings and projects are integrated from the beginning until the closeout. This person will have an active role in document development in the Revit platform, must have Revit experience. This person will participate in company promotional activities, including client contact, business development, and proposal development. Coordinates with Project Managers and Market Segment Leaders to promote the specific architectural goals and design intent as part of the project team.

Qualifications

·         Candidates must have a degree in Architecture.

·         Ability for registration in OK. Licensure preferred, but not required.

·         12+ years of relative work experience.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         NCARB certification is beneficial.

·         Possess working Revit experience.

Candidates must provide a short list describing experience and certifications as LEED, DBIA, etc. The knowledge of sustainable design principles is foundational to all the work we do and a working understanding of sustainable design is expected for this position.
